Playing with dolly

Gracie loves being a mommy and playing with her dolly- it was my dolly when I was her age! Love that hair huh! My sister and I cut the dolls hair when we were little!

Busy working on the computer (and singing)

Adoption Support Group

We have an adoption support group that meets once a month at the church- it's been a great time to develop relationships and support one another through this wonderful journey of adoption. Here's a few pictures of the kids in our group!

Mommy working too much!

I've been doing some contract work for a CPA here in town during tax season - only 10-15 hours a week or so, until this past week. It's been 40 or so this week, but done tomorrow. But, in the car today, Gracie says- "you're a bad mommy cause you are working too much!" Oh the things that a 3 year old says- it cracked me up! Kirk says she would say the same thing if I worked 1 hour a week!! Quite an attached little girl!

Happy Easter

We had wonderful Easter services at Canyon View. Just watching Gracie worship is incredible. She is really learning! She imitates the girls up front, folds up the bulletin for her microphone, and raises her hands. Someone commented - "Praise the Lord" from up front, and Gracie just repeated it too- for everyone to hear. Oh, the freedom of a child! I see why Jesus wants us to be like little children

Piano Lessons

Gracie got out her little piano today, put it on a stool, got a book and put it above the piano, and said she was taking piano lessons. She proceeded to sing and play--- boy we'll have to get her voice lessons and piano lessons some day!

Pictures to send to Darcy

We sent a care package to Haiti for Darcy this week. I had Gracie pose with the gifts we were sending. I sent her an outfit to match Gracie along with candy, doll, stuffed animal, purse and lots of pictures of our family. Gracie calls her "Haiti" and still is convinced that she won't share her toys! Although, I did get her to give her a purse and stuffed animal for the care package!
