What are you doing Gracie!

Gracie was too quiet the other day with her door shut. Went in there and asked her "what are you doing". "Nufin mom" only to see her eyebrows and lips painted with marker! SHe looks like some Manchurian Chinese person! I just started cracking up- couldn't even get mad! She said she was just painting her face like mom does!

It's summer for WADE!

Wade finished a tough semester of college yesterday and was elated! Now, he has 10 days to get organized, pack and clean out his stuff. Then he moves to Cimarron YWAM base for the lecture phase of The ONE DTS school that he and Chelsea (along with 10 others) are part of. He comes home on weekends, then comes home to get married June 27 and go on his honeymoon! They end the school August 8, then they are back in Junction for another year of school and work. What a whirlwind time with our oldest son. I am treasuring every moment with him still at home. He is such a joy to be around and is such a patient and nurturing and caring young man. I am so proud of him to see what God is doing in and through him. He continues to nurture his passion for music and film/video/photography to reach his generation for Jesus. God is preparing my heart to slowly release him to leave our nest and cleave to his new wife. It is very bitter sweet, but I am so excited to see how God is and will use him and Chelsea to work as a team to serve the Lord! God is good! I love you Wade.

Oh- the things that Gracie comes up with -

*The latest- "Best Friends Forever mom"
*Today she rose up some type of ribbon flag, put her hand on her heart and started to say the "Pledge of Allegiance"- of course needed lots of help (must have come from preschool!)
*When she is too quiet for too long, I go find her and ask her what she's doing. With a really guilty look, she puts her hands on her hips, and says "nuffing mom". Of course, nearly every time, she's up to something honery!
*Today at a graduation party, we walk up to the house and her first words are in a loud excited voice "mommy look at all the people!!" She proceeds to make friends with all the high school girls and by the end of the evening, everyone knows her name, they've all given her food, and she wants them to come to her birthday party! (By the way, she has already invited everyone she knows to her birthday party, which of course isn't until October!) Oh- our little miss socialite! Scary to think of middle and high school!

Enjoying the Pool!

Wade and Chelsea swam for 3 hours after finals were over! Had a blast! THey are a cute couple huh!

Gracie can finally stand in the pool! SHe is so excited- water goes up to her lip, so she tries to close her mouth (hard for her to do) so she doesn't get water in her mouth!

Mother's Day

The boys planted a tree for me for Mothers Day! Awesome! I have wonderful sons! Thank you!

Flower GIrl Dress

Gracie is trying on her dress for Wade and Chelsea's wedding! She loves it says she is a princess! We keep it at Chelsea's house though, otherwise she'd be wearing it every day!

MESSY Room

Like this messy room- driving me crazy! Can't even walk in it. I cleaned it up finally and she likes to keep it clean now!
